List Of All Glo Tariff Plans, Call Rates and Migration Codes

Although humans share a plethora of similar everyday needs, we still have a lot that can be tagged as divergent. An example of such needs is the ones bundled in Tariff plans. Telecom providers like Globalcom understand that subscribers want to be served differently and have designed different plans to meet different needs. In this article, we explore a list of all Glo tariff plans, call rates, and migration codes.

List Of All Glo Tariff Plans, Call Rates and Migration Code

At the time this article was written and published, Airtel was offering just four tariff plans and they are listed below.

List Of All Glo Tariff Plans

  1. Glo Always ON
  2. Glo 22x
  3. Glo Berekete++
  4. Glo 11k/Sec

As mentioned earlier, these plans are designed to cater to the different needs of Glo subscribers. Some of them are best suited for people that are heavy internet data consumers, while others are good for people that make calls a lot.

Glo Always On:

One of the things that is similar across all telecom providers, is that there is a high chance your line gets cut off from the service if it isn’t used for a long period of time. With the Always On tariff plan, Glo is offering its subscribers a system that will allow its subscribers to retain their lines when they haven’t used their lines for 365 days.

By not using your SIM, Glo is referring to not making calls, sending texts, or surfing the internet.

Aside from offering 365 days of connectivity, the Always on plan also offers a call rate of 12k/sec.

To subscribe to the Glo Always on the tariff plan, simply dial *777# and select the Always ON plan from a list of options provided.

Please note that upon registration, you be required to pay a one-time fee of 500 Naira, which will be charged from your main account balance.

The Always on tariff plan is a good initiative, however, I wish the inactive period can be extended beyond 365 days a stretch, as it will help subscribers with the intention of traveling outside the country for more than a year.

Glo 22x:

Although it was listed amongst Glo traffic plans, the Glo 22x isn’t really a Tariff plan you can intentionally subscribe to, as it doesn’t have a migration code.

The Glo 22x plan is a welcome-back reward system for subscribers that haven’t used their Glo lines for up to 30 days in a stretch.

Upon reactivation, they will be offered up to 5GB of free data every month for 3 months and 22 times a bonus on every recharge of 100 Naira to call all telecom networks in Nigeria. So the Glo 22x tariff plan can be described as a temporary tariff plan glo puts you for 3 months after you haven’t used your sim for 3 months.

As for call rate, Glo didn’t make mention of it, in their tariff plan outline, but my instincts tell me it’s going to be on the high side.

Glo Berekete++

Glo berekete++ is the default tariff plan for all Glo subscribers. However,  existing subscribers can also migrate to the plan, by failing *777#.

This tariff plan comes with a plethora of bonuses. For starters, new Glo subscribers will be offered a 1000 Naira welcome bonus after they have activated their SIM with a minimum of 100 Naira airtime and made their first call.

Moving on, Glo Berekete offers a 400% bonus for voice calls and a 500% bonus for data. There is also a special extra data on bonus on every first recharge of the month (must be 100 Naira and above). This bonus runs through your first six months.

Lastly, there is also a provision for up to a 100% bonus on data purchases for four months.

Glo 11k/SEC

Last but certainly not least, is the Glo 11k/SEC tariff plan. This goes as mentioned. It’s a tariff plan that is designed to allow subscribers to make calls at a rate of 11k / second.

So we can easily say it’s a tariff plan created to cater to the needs of subscribers that make a lot of calls on a daily basis.

The Glo 11k/secs tariff plan requires a daily access fee of 10 Naira. This fee is charged from your first call of the day.

To migrate to the Glo 11k/sec tariff plan, simply dial *777# and follow the on-screen prompts provided.
